Dr. Michael Tassone
Naturopathic Physician
Focus: Acute and chronic pain management, ultrasound guided prolotherapy, PRP & advanced injection therapies, digestive health
Dr. Tassone takes to heart the Naturopathic principle “Doctor as Teacher” and encompasses this value in every aspect of his professional practice. Dr. Tassone formerly taught Orthopedic Assessment & Physical Medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM), and is a past Instructor in the RMT Program at VCC-Kelowna. He is currently a registered Continuing Education Instructor with RMTBC, Public Health Instructor at BINM, and a BC Board Examiner for the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC (CNPBC). Dr. Tassone is the Co-Vice President of the British Columbia Naturopathic Doctors (BCND). He also currently sits on the National Advisory Board for Cyto-Matrix. Dr. Tassone's passion as an Educator keeps him up to date on emerging therapies and is the cornerstone of his approach to patient care. He believes in finding the root cause of a patient’s health concerns, and ensures his patients understand how they can take control of their own wellbeing. When not in the clinic (or marking students’ assignments), you can find him camping and getting lost in nature or immersed in the kitchen creating delicious gluten-free, dairy-free meals...(yes, they can be delicious).

Dr. Lauren Tomkins
Naturopathic Physician
Focus: Fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, PCOS, endometriosis, peri-menopause, menopause, thyroid, children's health
Dr. Lauren is a Naturopathic Doctor with a focus in optimizing women's health and hormones - from fertility / pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum to peri-menopause and menopause. She works with many patients struggling with painful + irregular menses, PMS/PMDD, PCOS, and endometriosis. She also offers Cervical Screening Exams (pap smears) for patients on a regular basis. She is passionate about offering comprehensive and collaborative healthcare to best understand the root cause of your health concerns, and optimize your health. When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Lauren spending time with her family and her rescue dogs, Ed and Doug. She loves living the Okanagan lifestyle - from the beach to the ski hill to hiking trails and camping.

Dr. Kelsea Parker
Naturopathic Physician
Focus: Post-concussion syndrome, TBI recovery, sleep, mental health, women's health and hormones
Dr. Parker is a Naturopathic Doctor and Okanagan newcomer raised in small town lake life. She aims to authentically connect with her patients to help educate, guide and empower them towards their optimal health. Dr. Parker has a passion for brain health and balancing the nervous system including anxiety and depression, stress, insomnia, post-concussive syndrome and traumatic brain injuries. When not seeking further knowledge you can find her chasing sunsets on her paddleboard or exploring the surrounding great outdoors by water, forest or mountain peaks.

Dr. Kaitlyn Tougas
Naturopathic Physician
Focus: Aesthetic medicine, skin health, cardiovascular health, diabetes, sleep, women's health
Dr. Tougas was born and raised in Penticton, BC, and she is so excited to have returned to the Okanagan to grow her practice. She believes the journey to optimal health is a collaborative venture, and will guide and educate her patients along the way. She encourages strong, evidence-informed nutritional and lifestyle foundations, in addition to tailored treatment plans. She uses a combination of complementary, such as herbal medicine and acupuncture, functional, physical, and modern medicine to help you achieve your health goals. When she's not at WKIHC, you can find Dr. Tougas teaching yoga in the park, playing in the water with her two young children, or taking a family hike in the mountains. She also loves to run and golf with her friends and has the goal of completing Ironman Canada.

Miklos (Mike) Bencsik II
Registered Massage Therapist
Focus: Myofascial release, deep tissue massage, supporting athletes with chronic pain
Mike is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and local BC boy. He first became interested in massage therapy after it greatly helped him recover from an injury he sustained years ago. Being heavily involved in competitive Olympic weightlifting, Mike fully understands the importance of a team approach to healthcare and proactive treatments to ensure high quality training and performance. Mike is passionate about helping his clients get out of pain and back to the activities that bring them joy. He performs a thorough assessment to better understand the root cause of pain and injury, and develops an individualized treatment plan for each of his clients. When Mike is not in clinic, you can find him training and competing in Olympic weightlifting. He is currently ranked 2nd in the 109+ in Canada, a BC Provincial Champion, and working his way to compete in the next Commonwealth Games.

Steph Botham
Registered Massage Therapist
Focus: Headaches and migraines, neck and shoulder pain, stress management, chronic injuries, prenatal care
Stephanie Botham is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who has been in practice since 2018. Steph always knew that she wanted to have a career in the healthcare field, she just wasn’t sure what area she belonged in. She has always admired the idea of helping people and making a difference in her clients’ journey to optimal health. At a young age, her Dad was in an accident which required extensive time in a Rehabilitation Centre. After attending many appointments with him, and seeing first hand her Dad’s benefits from massage therapy - she was inspired her to become an RMT. When Stephanie was an RMT student, she also benefited greatly from massage therapy treatments herself, which deepened her education and made her even more passionate about being in this field. When she's not in the clinic, you can find Steph reading, baking cookies, and watercolor painting. She loves spending time with family and friends, playing with her cat, and taking in all the activities and scenery the Okanagan has to offer.

Dr. Lauren Fauchon
Chiropractor
Focus: Acute and chronic pain management, sports injuries, active rehabilitation, headaches and whiplash
Dr. Lauren Fauchon, DC believes in a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care. She is passionate about creating genuine connections and empowering her patients with the tools to reduce future injury risk and get you back to the activities you love to do, pain free. Her treatment focuses on soft tissue therapies, chiropractic adjustments, exercise rehabilitation, and patient education. Dr. Lauren grew up in West Kelowna as a multi-sport athlete but ultimately found her true passion in swimming. She competed nationally, and internationally throughout high school and university. From her own athletics, she not only recognizes what it is like to experience an injury but understands how to get you out of pain and how to progress through stages of rehabilitation. When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Lauren swimming laps of the pool or the lake, swinging her clubs on the golf courses, lifting weights in the gym, sweating at SpinCo, or testing out new recipes in the kitchen.

Keramia Lawrie
Front Desk Receptionist
Focus: Office organizer extraordinaire, service with a smile, cat mom
Keramia is a post-secondary student, born and raised in West Kelowna. She has always had an interest in naturopathic medicine and health, and loves being a part of such an incredible team. When she’s not taking phone calls and helping the clinic run smoothly, you can find her knitting, climbing, and hanging out with her two cats, Pickles and Anethum.

Shalea Wittich
Office Administrator
Focus: Multitasker extraordinaire, service with a smile, health enthusiast
Shalea was born and raised right here in West Kelowna. Her love for helping and connecting with people, as well as her passion for naturopathic medicine, brought her to our clinic. Shalea knew this was the energy and the environment she wanted to be a part of daily! When Shalea isn't managing the front desk, and supporting both our team and patients, you can find her spending quality time with the family - camping and side-by-siding - journaling, working out from home, and reading all the personal development and wellness books.
